What is Margene’s pre-order model?

Margene offers both made-to-order and ready-to-ship pieces.

Made-to-order items are produced especially for you to minimise waste and ensure thoughtful production. These pieces typically ship within 4–5 weeks of manufacture.

In-stock items ship within 2 business days of order confirmation. Each product page clearly states whether an item is in stock or made to order. We’ll keep you updated throughout the process, so you know when your order is ready to ship.

Do you offer international shipping?

Yes, we ship worldwide.

Shipping rates are:
UK: Free
EU: £15
Rest of World: £25
Free worldwide shipping on orders over £300

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Delivery times begin after dispatch.

UK: 2–4 working days
EU: 4–6 working days
Rest of World: 6–8 working days

Once dispatched, you’ll receive an email with tracking details.

Will I need to pay customs or import duties?

All UK and EU orders are shipped Delivered Duty Paid (DDP). This means all taxes, customs, and import duties are included, with no additional charges on delivery.

For orders shipped outside the UK and EU, customs or import duties may be charged by local authorities and are the responsibility of the recipient.

Can I cancel or change my order after it's been placed?

Once an order is placed, we cannot guarantee changes or cancellations prior to dispatch. Please review your order carefully before completing your purchase.

How do I track my order?

Once your order has been dispatched, you’ll receive an email with tracking details so you can follow its journey.

What happens if my order is lost or damaged in transit?

Margene Ltd. is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit. However, we’ll do our best to assist you in resolving the issue with the courier. Please contact us as soon as possible if there’s a problem.

Can I exchange my item for a different size or color?

As some pieces are made to order, exchanges are not always possible. If you contact us promptly, we’ll do our best to help. If an exchange can’t be accommodated, a refund will be issued excluding shipping, customs, and import duties.

Can I return my item if it doesn’t fit?

If your item doesn’t fit, you may return it within 14 days of delivery, provided it is unworn and in perfect condition.

We also offer one complimentary alteration via our Alter platform, available to London-based customers, to help achieve the right fit.

Why don’t you just make more clothes?

We produce in limited quantities for two reasons.

First, to reduce waste by making only what’s needed.
Second, because many of our fabrics are sourced in limited runs or end-of-line, meaning once they’re gone, they can’t be reordered.

I missed out on a drop - what should I do?

If you miss a release, join our mailing list and follow us on Instagram to be notified about upcoming drops and early access opportunities.

How do I care for my clothes?

Always refer to the care label inside your garment.

To extend the life of your clothes:
Wash or dry clean only when necessary
Air dry rather than tumble dry
Iron inside-out on a low heat if needed
